Hmm... I get what you mean by mustard yellow. Nevertheless, I still really like the bag. I think the pattern just aids the bag to be shaped baggy hobo like. And I suppose any escentric colors match with the bohemian look. Besides, this bag will probably match most daytime outfits, but one must remember to match this bad with simple outfits. cheers.
