Seabags

Now here idea that intrigues me. Maybe I have just had sailing on the brain since I am planning a New Year's Eve in Newport, RI or because I have spend the past months listening to my mom's many sailing stories. Or maybe it is because I visited Maine a few weekends ago. Or maybe it is because it is great to see something original and interesting out in the world of bags, and something that is also very New England-y.

Via the lovely Purseuing, I spotted a link to Seabags a company that creates tote bags out of used sails. The Web site doesn't have to much info but luckily, Purseuing has got all the info in her post.

The bags look beautiful, the store is located in the Old Port and I plan to pay a visit with my camera and wallet the next time I am in Maine.
