Bag info for luckymag.com

Two interesting bag related questions from the Lucky Magazine "Ask the Editor" section of luckymag.com:

I want to purchase a good handbag and I'm looking for a timeless but hip style. What shapes and materials should I look for to make a good investment? (j.crew link isn't working, I think they meant this.

I have a great handbag collection, but I'm not sure how to store them and keep them in good shape. Any tips?
