Marimekko everywhere
I grew up sleeping on a pair of vintage Marimekko sheets, which is a fact I could only recently appreciate. The sheets had giant flowers in shades of yellow and orange, similar to these but with more orange. So last year when I was shopping at Crate and Barrel for new sheets I instantly gravitated to the Merimekko Kukkula linens in taupe. Similar to my childhood sheets but in a more muted color/botanical print and easy to launder, I've become a huge fan of Marimekko.
So imagine my surprise when flipping through the latest Anthropologie catalog I saw Marimekko bags, especially the Pictograph Tote with a black background and white horses. And there are even more bags at the Marimekko site. My favorites are Maple, and Opaali with blue dots.
Marimekko everywhere!

i just wanna say that i totally love this blog! i just recently started a blog about handbags, basically because i was bored out of my mind and wanted to see what it is like to start a blog. and now after seeing this blog I'm thinking that i'm gonna just quit my blog, coz there's no way i can do something even close to this! so, keep up the good work! and i will definitelly be a returning reader :D

I have been working on Styling (in NYC) ads for a new company, eenamaria, and went crazy for their bags and belt-bags.
The designs are some of the most innovative i've seen, and very utilitarian. I actually already put an order in for their newest collection-Kensington, made of the softest lambskin I've ever felt-maybe even better than the Chanel thigh-high's-take that Karl.

I like it. I have the funtote horse tote, but still like this Marimekko bag, so cute.
